The interRAI Community Mental Health (CMH) Assessment System is a complementary system in an integrated suite of mental health instruments designed to support a stepped approach to assessment and screening. These include the interRAI Self-Reported Assessment for Mental Health (SAMH), interRAI Brief Mental Health Screener (BMHS), interRAI Mental Health (MH) Assessment for In-patient Psychiatry, and the interRAI Emergency Screener for Psychiatry (ESP).
The interRAI CMH Assessment System is intended for use with adult populations in community mental health settings, particularly those with complex needs requiring a case management approach to support their well-being and recovery. The interRAI CMH Assessment System is a clinician-led assessment designed to support comprehensive care planning, outcome measurement, quality indicators, service allocation, and case mix classification to estimate relative resource intensity.
